Mission Statement of Conviction – We will be Christ centered and outward focused
The mission of Ray of Hope is to be a Matthew 25 church in our community. Jesus told us in Matthew 25:40, And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ We will fulfill this mission of “ministering to the least of these” by being outward focused and by reaching out to families and individuals without consideration of their age, race, social, economic, ethnic, or cultural background in Goldsboro and the surrounding areas. To give them hope in our Lord and Savior and to help them Discover the love of God through Jesus Christ. To help them Grow as a disciple of Christ, and to equip each of them to share the love of Jesus with others. We will minister to those less fortunate than us. We will feed the hungry, give water to those who thirst, take in strangers, give clothing to the naked and visit those who are sick or in prison. We believe that the Holy Spirit is moving, and that God is still performing miracles today.
